Bigmouth Strikes Again

Searching for some short, snappy, snarly pop fuzz...? Look no further than Glasgow's newest noisemakers - The Amazing Snakeheads.  Can decide if the name is truly awful or completely inspired.  Check out their 65 second calling card below:

Psychedelic French rock?  Mais oui.  The Liminanas arrive in our lives with this Nico-esque stomper just as Lou Reed departs.  Love this:

I've probably posted this one before but I don't care.  More rudimentary Glaswegian tune-smithery that proves less is more:

However, more is also more.  Favourite track from the new Arcade Fire album.  I think it sounds like the younger, fresher (similarly bracket-ed) brother of Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2).  Maybe it's just me.  It's Never Over (Hey Orpheus):

I've just finished reading Morrissey's fascinating autobiography - definitely worth a read and there's plenty to interest those who are not of a 'Smiths persuasion.  It confirms that he's a true individual - in one anecdote he seethes about being called TRUCULENT by a high court judge; he wears his truculence as a badge of honour though. I was looking on youtube for a Morrissey song to post but found page one of the book below instead...
